EARNEST REMEMBRANCE” Part II : Monday January 25

Jeremiah 31: 20

"Is Ephraim my dear son? Is he a pleasant child?, for since I spake against him, I do earnestly remember him still: therefore my bowels are troubled for him; I will surely have mercy upon him, saith the Lord'

God heard the voice of bemoaning Ephraim and God responded right away. That is one of the reasons why GOD is GOD. He always remembers His covenant to save all flesh that cried unto HIM. He is a covenant keeping God.

Though, God spoke against Ephraim, he was still on the mind of God for mercy, hence God earnestly remembered him supernaturally.

Whenever we remember how pleasantly we are before the eyes of the Lord, then The Lord would remember who we are on His agenda. Despite the magnitude of our sins, we still stand the chance to be earnestly remembered by God, if we repent and turn back to God. Ephraim did not reject chastisement and he received God’s divine restoration. If any one rejects God’s divine correction, he/she in effect is rejecting God’s divine protection. No matter what, God does not forget us.
