Jeremiah 31: 20
"Is Ephraim my dear son? Is he a pleasant child?, for since I spake against him, I do earnestly remember him still: therefore my bowels are troubled for him; I will surely have mercy upon him, saith the Lord'
Ephraim was once a pleasant and well behaving child before he became unpleasant. He followed others that worship idols and God let him go until he realized his errors and said In Hosea 14:8, when Ephraim said “what did he have to do any more with idols?” is any child of God out there saying the same thing today? God is waiting to accept thy plea. Ephraim became one more time a pleasant child to God.
What are the idols taking you away from God? Get rid of them. Follow the One true God. The idols did not make you. You were made by God. If Ephraim could forsake his idols, it is possible for anybody to do the same. God Has your back. No threat of darkness can harm you ; come out of their strong-hold into the marvelous light of God.
Today is your time and day. God will remember today and restore you as you yield to what the Bible passage above is saying. For one soul that is redeemed God is pleased. Ephraim’s attitude caused trouble for God, because of the merciful nature of God. Draw near to God in truth and spirit and HE will earnestly remember you for restoration. Take a simple step of faith. Climb the ladder to Christ and you will be reconciled with GOD.
