“REMEMBER NOW, O LORD”. Part 1 : Wednesday January 27

Isaiah 38:3

"And said, Remember now, O Lord, I beseech thee, how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore."

The Bible passage today was the swift response of Hezekaih, the King of Jerusalem ; which was facing assault from the Assyrians. However, the king was able to provoke God to remember him in time of his utmost need. He challenged God to intervene in his urgent matter, and God did.

The scenario started with a call of death on Hezekiah ; which he (Hezekiah) prayerfully and faithfully rejected. It was noted that his prayer was not delayed or denied. Our God is the unchangeable changer. He remained the same from everlasting to everlasting. God heard the prayer and reversed the death sentence on Hezekiah. He not only recovered from the sickness; but lived more fifteen years in triumph of his enemies.

The lesson here is believing in faith when we pray concerning any issues. God still honors faith as faith honors God. Hezekiah became sick while facing the assault of the enemy. His goodness and greatness did not exempt him from affliction, troubles and even death, but he provoked God to remember him immediately. He challenged his God of NOW and he was restored beyond his imagination. Pray and expect that answer is on the way. PRAISE GOD! Note that your prayer can also avail much of God. Amen.
