Acts 9:3-4

"And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven: And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?"

Before the journey that led to the encounter Saul had with Jesus on the way to Damascus; he was a “wicked” champion in the darkness of this world. Threatening the work of God and persecuting the followers of Christ. However, the encounter led him to be a better champion and he got increased zeal for the sake of the same Christ he was persecuting. May Jesus encounter all the wickedness of this world; in HIS name I pray. Amen.

The light that shined around Saul would have been more than the power of thunder because it was from heaven and sudden. The Bible says that Saul fell to the earth. The light mist be powerful enough to make the “strong” man to fall to the ground! The question I have is this? Was Saul on a chariot or just traveling on his legs? Imagine if he fell from a chariot or even from just walking! He must have been in a shocking situation for a while! It was a divine “accident” that turned his life around. Praise God!!!!!! Alleluia.

An encounter like this will cause everything ungodly in the life of Saul to fall to the ground never to rise up again. What ever that is causing hinderance in your progress shall have a mighty falling encounter, in Jesus Name, because of this month’s theme, in Jesus Name. It took some days for Saul to be able to recover from the encounter, but he recovered never to be wicked again. Also, he became one of the front liners of the carriers of the power of Jesus. Amen.
