Acts 9:3-4
"And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven: And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?"
The light that shined from heaven cannot but be extra ordinary one. It was indicated as sudden. This meant that it caught up with Saul without preparations or notice. He had nowhere to run or hide. When God is ready to move things happen with the speed of heaven. No one can imagine the speed and power in that light except the one who is in the encounter.
The light shined to reveal the power of God, in the life of Saul. On this particular occasion, it was the light that transformed the life of Saul from destructive darkness into living and marvelous light of Jesus. The shining of the light was the beginning of changing his name from Saul to Paul. The intensity of the light was said to be round about Saul and new things began to happen in his life, from that moment.
The light was meant for Saul alone and not for others around him. The people around him only saw the light but never experienced the power of the light. The encounter was solely for Saul to change the trend of his life forever. As you read, you are still alive and on a journey. It is my prayer that you will end well in Jesus Name. Amen. No matter what are in your paths of life; your ups and downs will encounter God to make ways for you suddenly, in Jesus Name. The God that shined a light round about Saul is still the same God. He Has not changed. You will also experience the light from heaven in your life journey that will change your life for better, in Jesus Name. Amen.
Prayer points for the day
1) Father, thank you for the light from heaven everyday in my life, in Jesus Name.
2) Father, thank you for the miracles of sleeping and waking up on daily basis, in Jesus Name.
3) Father, thank you for the light all around me and my family, in Jesus Name.
4) Lord, thank you for your daily mercy upon my life and family, in Jesus Name.
5) Almighty God, thank you for your loving kindness and power upon my life, in Jesus Name.
6) Lord, let your light shine upon my family everyday, in Jesus Name.
7) Father, my eyes are unto you, arise and transform my life by the heavenly light, in Jesus Name. Amen.
