A LIGHT FROM HEAVEN- DIVINE ENCOUNTER” Part 1 : Wednesday October 12

Acts 9:3-4

"And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven: And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?"

There is always something extra ordinarily out of place before a divine encounter and there is always something extra ordinarily supernatural after divine encounter. What does this mean? The above Bible passages referenced the beginning of the extra ordinary supernatural processes after the divine encounter of Saul of Tarsus. Also, before this encounter, he had been a terror to the Christian Worshipers in Jerusalem.

Bible scholars indicate that Saul of Tarsus was under the special education of a high ranking and well known Rabbi called Gamaliel, but no experience of Christ. No matter how educated Christians may be, there is need of heavenly experience to encounter Jesus. Divine encounter process may be as simple as stepping up your faith and believe system to declare and be sold out to Jesus.

Though, Saul of Tarsus had head knowledge but no spirit and heart knowledge, until he had the encounter with heaven hear on earth. Is any one reading this devotional today but getting ready to go on a contrary journey against the will of God? What he/she needs is a divine encounter. He started on a journey but ended with a special divine encounter that changed the cause of his destiny for ever. Praise God. As you read today, may you experience heaven hear on earth during this month’s theme in Jesus Name. Amen.
