“YOUR RIGHTEOUSNESS”. Part II : Wednesday March 27

Matthew 5:20

"For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the Scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the Kingdom of heaven."

All over us we have “garments” that cannot conform with the righteousness of God, because our righteousness have been described as filthy rags and God does not bless filthiness in any forms. The Pharisees have high category of righteousness, according to the law, but Jesus expects us to have better righteousness.

The Kingdom of heaven is our goal. We cannot be in Christ and take the Kingdom of God for granted. The standard of righteousness that will carry us to the Kingdom must be different from how the Pharisees looked at righteousness. Yes, they looked great outside, but on the not inside.

Life in Jesus will assist us to live righteously and acceptably towards making the Kingdom. Stay and remain in line with Jesus. Look unto HIM for the ability to live righteous life. We all need Jesus to live the standards of life acceptable. Let us use HIM (JESUS ) as our yardstick not any man. He is our most dependable and reliable Savior. Amen.
