“WITH THANKSGIVING ” – Final

Philippians 4:6

"Be careful for nothing : but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God"

Again, Paul the Apostle is admonishing us this morning, as Christians and followers of Christ; to be dependent on God by not getting worried for nothing. We just need to be sure to pray about everything. Be reminded that there should be nothing too small or too big, too significant or insignificant to pray about.

God is bigger than all our worries and only if we can let our requests be made known to him “WITH THANKSGIVING” in advance. Heaven is full of answers to our requests and supplication, and can never be exhausted.  John 11:41 pointed us to how Jesus put His faith across to God to get miracles done. Over the time, we can build up faith that can inspire thanksgiving of miracles.

We must be able to be steadfast in the presence of God. Put God first. Hang all the power of possibility on God. Take all the troubles of life to God in Jesus Name. Take your joy to God in the same way and your joy shall remain and be full. Tell Jesus about your temptations, and He will shield you from them. What about the wounds in your heart? Take them to Jesus in prayers. He will heal them. We forfeit most benefits, because we do not take our requests to God in prayers with thanksgiving. Amen.

Prayer points for the day

• 1) Almighty God, I thank you for the gift of another day, in Jesus Name.
• 2) Lord, I bless you for the favor of seeing the glory of another season of thanksgiving month, in Jesus Name.
• 3) Father, thank you for giving me the grace to remain in your presence, no matter what, in Jesus Name.
• 4) Lord, awaken my spirit not to forfeit all the benefits of prayers, in Jesus Name.
• 5) Lord, as this year is rolling away, roll away all barriers from my life, in Jesus Name.
• 6) Lord, I thank you because evil will not grieve me and my household, in Jesus Name.
• 7) Father, let this month of November, 2013 speak major thanksgiving blessings into our assembly, in Jesus Name. Amen.
• 8) Lord, thank you in advance, because 2014 would speak uncommon favors into my life and family, in Jesus Name. Amen.
