“VOICE OF THANKSGIVING”. Part II : Thursday November 16

Jonah 2:9

"But I will sacrifice unto thee with the voice of thanksgiving ; I will pay that that I have vowed. Salvation is of the Lord"

It was in the belly of the fish, which was described as hell that Jonah prayed to God and it eventually led to the voice of thanksgiving. It shows that we can pray anywhere and God will hear us. Can we imagine what the fish belly looks like inside there? It also reveals that heaven is accessible and can hear us from any where we call on God.

Jonah carried the altar of God inside the fish belly and God heard him. In our own case when you have Jesus dwelling inside of you, there is an altar that you carry that follows you. When you travel focus on Jesus and feel the altar you carry. By faith, the altar, in the Name of Jesus, goes along with you everywhere you go.

Let something lead to your own voice of thanksgiving this season. Jonah was in a kind of house arrest or confinement, yet God heard his voice of thanksgiving. Jonah had a lifestyle of thanksgiving. If Jonah can have freedom of easy access to God, as a born again Christian, you too can have such access. Jonah was a prophet and one can assume that he was born again. He became more convinced that our God is God of our salvation with his voice of thanksgiving. Amen.
