“VOICE OF THANKSGIVING”. Part 1 : Thursday November 15

Jonah 2:9

"But I will sacrifice unto thee with the voice of thanksgiving ; I will pay that that I have vowed. Salvation is of the Lord"

The above passage followed the situation Prophet Jonah’s affliction due to his disobedience. Thereafter, the Bible says in Jonah 2:2 “And said, I cried by reason of mine affliction unto the Lord, and he heard me; out of the belly of hell cried I, and thou heardest my voice.” The equation of Jonah 2:2 was that the voice of affliction became the voice of thanksgiving and God heard him.

God heard Jonah in his affliction and turned it for his salvation. What did Jonah do differently? After praying to God, he gave his voice to God in thanksgiving and thanksliving.

No matter what the situation is today, pray to God and give your voice to HIM in thanksgiving. He is a just and loving God. He needs us to move in the line of HIS directions. He is not interested in destroying us. Let your voice of thanksgiving become louder and louder. He that heard Jonah from the far inside of the belly of hell can hear you today. This is the season of thanksgiving and God is always at hand to match the level of our thanksgiving with unexpected blessings and miracles, in Jesus Name. Amen.
