Matthew 2:10
"When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy"
The star they saw in the Bible passage above is not the Leo, Virgo, Taurus Saturn or Jupiter etc It is the star that was ordained by God for Jesus as the true child of God. It is also not a star that is researched and named by astrologers; which they use to manipulate people’s and unbelievers births.
The star mentioned above is a supernatural one that brings light to our dark world. The light of the star that guides and leads our ways to Christ. They are the God’s Almighty ordained stars. They are different and have divine purposes in/for our lives.
Hold on to the one that is called the Bright and the morning star. He is also known as the Day Spring from heaven. The one that is called from the root of David. The star will go ahead of you and not behind you, only if you follow consistently. The star would not abandon you in the dark. It shines in the dark to take you to the place of light and destiny. As the wise men followed the light of the star of Jesus and they were not stranded; you will never be stranded in the journey of life, in Jesus Name. Just follow the star born out of Bethlehem. He is Jesus and the only way. Amen.
Prayer points for the day
1) Lord, thank you for this day in which you have made, in Jesus Name.
2) Lord, thank you for your protection and provision for the year 2016, in Jesus Name.
3) Father, forgive any sins and every sin that can hinder my progress as I go into the new year 2017, in Jesus Name.
4) Father, prepare the ground for me and family for a prosperous 2017, in Jesus Name.
5) Lord, as we move out of 2016, let every shame and reproach move out of my life, in Jesus Name.
6) Lord, as we enter 2017, take me and my family to the next level of Glory, in Jesus Name.
7) Almighty God, I throw my life into your hands afresh, keep me safe out of seen, unseen, known and unknown troubles and dangers, in Jesus Name. Amen.
