Matthew 2:10
"When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy"
“They” in the above referenced passage are the wise men from the East who saw the special star relating to Jesus and they followed the star. The star led them to their destination and when they saw Jesus they rejoiced with exceeding great joy. Also, they worshiped Jesus and give special gifts. Do you have joy seeing and knowing Jesus?
The star shined and the people it meant for recognized it and followed it to where Jesus was laid in a manger. The star was visible to the wise men but invisible to the wicked king and his operatives.
The star guided the wise men to Jesus because they followed the star. The wise men opened their hearts to Jesus. Please do the same this season and you will also have great joy. The star of Jesus is still there shining and leading people back to their rightful positions with the Father.
Prayer points for the day
1) Father, thank you for another day of life in Jesus Name.
2) Lord, thank you for the star to guide me and my family accordingly, in Jesus Name.
3) Almighty God, do not allow sins to be my song and new songs in Jesus Name.
4) Father, wipe away all my ancestral, foundational and generational sins, in Jesus Name.
5) Lord, open my heavens for the season of your Glory, in Jesus Name.
6) Father, let my life speak peace all over this generation, in Jesus Name.
7) Lord, bless me and make me a channel of blessing this season, in Jesus Name. Amen.
