Luke 1:20

"And behold, thou shall be dumb, and not be able to speak, until the day that these things shall be performed, because thou believest not my words, which shall be fulfilled in their season"

The man of God, Zachariah puts himself in a situation that God wanted him to be dumb, until the things that God Has promised come to pass. “These things” was and indication that God Had lined up multiple miracles including the one directly concerning his wife, Elizabeth. Zachariah experienced the wrath of God for not believing the words of promise.

As God took the matter of unbelief serious in the past, so HE is still taking it serious in these our days. No matter what, believers must believe in the promises of God that He will perform whatever He Has promised to do. God Has never failed in His promises.
