“THE POWER OF THANKSGIVING” Part II :Friday November 2

John 11:41

"Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up His eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me"

Our faith qualifies us for the next level of the manifestation of the power of thanksgiving. When you are faithful, it is a sign of been thankful and the power therein will stand and work for you. In the above Bible passage, our Lord Jesus demonstrated a level of faith and ordered the stone to be taken away. There may be some that may say what was Jesus doing? Never mind if people attack your faith. You shall prevail.

Jesus lifted up His eyes to God; the source of power for all things; including thanksgiving. He lifted up His eyes so that there will be coming down of the power of God. According to the passage above, when we lift up our eyes to God, there is attention from above. Lifting up of eyes precedes thanksgiving that will bring miracles. Amen.

Thanking God in advance is a catalyst to solving our problems. Jesus focused more on God and not on what the situation was. The height of our thanksgiving will determine the level of miracle we can receive from God. Give God thanks to show that God means more to you than the ugly situation. God is not unaware of where you are and what you are going through. Paul and Silas praised God at the midnight of their execution in chains and the mystery of thanksgiving sought them out. What are you waiting for? Praise God today like never before and continue praising HIM until He comes down for you. Amen.

Prayer points for the day

3) Lord, let this year’s thanksgiving be special in my life, in Jesus Name.

4) Father, let my thanksgiving open up my destiny for divine greatness, in Jesus Name.

5) Father, put on me garment of gratitude, in Jesus Name.
