“THE POWER OF THANKSGIVING” Part 1 : Thursday November 1

John 11:41

"Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up His eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me"

Prior to major miracles in Jesus’ days, thanksgiving was noticed as an important integral part of the process. Faith in the power of what only God can do is also necessary as a catalyst to the outcome of the power of thanksgiving. In actual fact, faith is a sustainer of thanksgiving.

Jesus commanded that the stone be removed; because of the faith He had in God. He also lifted His eyes unto God, not to any man. He focused at the source of the power and He thank God in expectation of what He wished for. Giving thanks qualified Jesus for an immediate act of power to raise the dead.

When we give thanks, it facilitates our next blessing and acts of favor. Let us cultivate the art of thanksgiving before placing our requests before God. It opens doors to expected and unexpected miracles. Amen. Prioritize thanksgiving in all things and all things shall go great with and for you, in Jesus Name. Amen.
