“THE MERCY OF GOD” : Wednesday July 12

Psalms 66:20

"Blessed be God, which Hath not turned away my prayer, nor His mercy from me."

The mercy of God is different from the mercy of man. God does not turn away from His mercy once given, but man turns away from mercy depending on the circumstances. Prayer that asks for mercy from God gets mercy and it stands with God. The mercy of man is dependent on how far man can go with you and self. Man’s mercy is easily exhaustible and short – term.

The Bible says that the mercy of God endureth for ever, but nothing is mentioned about the mercy of man in the Bible, because man is not relevant where mercy is concerned. Man can either mis judge, over judge or under judge. God is the only ONE that can rightly give judgement and mercy. Amen.

Mercy plays a great role in the Justice of the Lord, therefore always ask God for His mercies. In any of HIS Justices there is always mercy. When HE hands over mercy to someone, there is justice handed over to another. Stand with God. Make HIM your priority and He would not turn away from HIS mercy. He would not turn away your prayers as well. Your prayers can actually provoke HIS mercy. Amen.

2) Lord, thank you for not turning away from your mercy for me and my family, in Jesus Name.
