“RESTORE UNTO ME” Part II : Friday October 6

Psalms 51:10-12

"Create in me a clean heart , O God; and renew a right spirit within me. 11) Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not the thy Holy Spirit from me. RESTORE UNTO ME the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit."

The heart must be clean for the right spirit to enter. Filthy heart hinders the free moves of the right spirit. When a heart is filthy, it needs divine touch to cleanse it and prepare it for the inflow of the Holy Spirit. The heart is the place that we stand in the presence of God. It is the place that we receive and process the directions of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

It is a bitter truth that a heart not clean is far away from the presence of God, even if the carrier is physically present in the Church 24/7. God abhors a dirty heart because it will not receive anything from God. King David was at that level when he wrote the above Bible passage. He was no longer hearing from God and he needed God back into his life by way of total divine restoration.

As children of God, we need to seek the face of God in earnest when we fall from maintaining the right spirit or we are no longer hearing from God. Also, when God seems to be quiet on us there is need to check out our relationship with God in every aspect of our lives. Having clean heart is the key to total restoration. God is the greatest restorer of our generation. Praise God.
