“RESTORE UNTO ME” Part 1 : Thursday October 5

Psalms 51:10-12

"Create in me a clean heart , O God; and renew a right spirit within me. 11) Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not the thy Holy Spirit from me. RESTORE UNTO ME the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit."

The above passage and verses in the Bible are very popular in the pentecostal Churches for revival and restoration services. King David wrote these prayers when he realized that he was losing in the realm of the Spirit with God. He was a man who knew very well at any time when God’s reactions are not what he desired in his life and Kingdom.

He knew the consequences when his heart was not clean and pure. He held the joy of his salvation very serious. Whenever he lost the time of his refreshing and relationship with God; he was always going down in all things; losing wars and facing troubles from every where. When contrary things happened to King David he would intensively seek the face of God either in prayer or in praises, to the extent that God took him as a man after his own heart.

Without doubts, genuine repentance leads to restoration. Repent today before it is too late. One can safely say that Jesus is already here and delivering HIS judgements. The time to allow yourselves to be purged of all iniquities is right now so that you can be reformed for total restoration. Take a deep thought of your life together with a spiritual stock. Also, what do you expect your own judgement day to look like. A dreadful day or a joyful day? The choice is yours. Judgement day is sure and Jesus is the One to rise up to your eternal salvation. Praise God.
