Psalms 9:6
"O thou enemy, destructions are come to a perpetual end: and thou hast destroyed cities; their memorial is perished with them."
God is the One speaking in the above passage with power and authority. The reason why God had to speak was to put a perpetual end to the warfare in the life of King David and as well as all our readers who fervently believe in God.
At this point in time the enemy had already done his worst, destroyed the people and their cities but there are remnants still standing and God stood for them. The statement was categorically directed to the enemy for our favor. God is deliberately turning the tide against the enemy. It is was a direct divine order against the activities of the enemy. The enemy heard the voice of God giving the enemy a divine marching order to back off. It was a time of “ENOUGH IS ENOUGH”.
God declared total victory for King David, the man that God used to engage in wars for the people of God through out his life. The verse 5 of same chapter is putting off and out the names of the enemies as if they never existed in a way by declaring total victory for every one that belongs to God. Soak yourself and family in the blood of Jesus that God Has provided for total victory. It is time for us to know the power, authority and grace that we have in the blood of Jesus. There is God in heaven that Has already declared your victory to be total. There is also the blood that is fighting and speaking victory all round for us. Amen.
Prayer points for the day
1) Father, thank you for every day of victory this month of July, in Jesus Name. Amen.
2) Lord, let me continue to experience your power of divine victory over sins, flesh and this wicked world, in Jesus Name.
3) Father, let the destruction of the enemy come to a perpetual end for my total victory, in Jesus Name.
4) Lord, make a way for my complete victory, in Jesus Name.
5) Father, give me and my family victory at last, in Jesus Name.
6) Lord, let me and family overcome every troop confronting me in Jesus Name.
7) Abba Father, give my enemy the final marching orders to back off from me and family perpetually, in Jesus Name. Amen.
