“OVERCOME = VICTORY AT THE LAST”. Final Part : Wednesday July 25

Genesis 49:19

"Gad, a troop shall overcome him: but he shall overcome at the last."

The above passage is for Gad: one of the children of Jacob. His name was specifically mentioned like the others. The way he was blessed by his father Jacob was not the same for the other children and that informs us that your/my blessing and victory cannot cancel or hinder any other persons’ blessing/victory.

Every one has a level and extent of victory depending of what God Has arranged. There is also the timing of God in every victorious season. The first part of the message of blessing to Gad seemed unpleasant but the latter part was full of expected victory. The troop mentioned in the passage represent opposition and series of attacks, but at last Gad was victorious.

The blessing as recorded for Gad was different from Judah’s, Simeon’s, Levi’s and others. They all got the fair share of their blessings. The blessing came at the time that it mattered most when Jacob was about to die. That time became the day of reckoning for the deeds of the past for the children of Jacob. Stand in the best radar and books of the Almighty God, because there is always a pay day. Apart from standing steadfast, there is counting down for the second coming of our Lord Jesus to reward us according to our deeds. It will be a great thing to reign with HIM at the last day for total victory. Amen.

Prayer points for the day

1) Father, thank you for making me and family to live in victory, in Jesus Name.

2) Lord, let this season of victory bring total victory over my sins, in Jesus Name.

3) Lord, let my life continue to be in total victory, in Jesus Name.

4) Father, give me and my family victory at last, in Jesus Name.

5) Father, let me and my family laugh last and laugh best over all our troubles and battles in victory, in Jesus Name.

6) Father, do not turn my victory to sorrow and defeat, in Jesus Name.

7) Abba Father, give me permanent and total victory that no man can give and no man can take away, in Jesus Name. Amen.

Have a blessed and wonderful day!
