“PATTERN OF LIVING: THANKSGIVING – Part IV”

Ephesians 5: 19-20

"Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; - Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ"

Today, we should concentrate on giving thanks to God for all things. God is aware of all things. He has power over all things, He can do and undo all things. Therefore, He deserves to be given thanks for all things. What happens when we give Him thanks for some things? Then we are saying that God is not God of all things.! He is God of all situations and circumstances. He deserves all our gratitude for what He Has done and what is yet to do.
Remember that when we were lost, Jesus gave us direction for salvation. He provided means of deliverance and restored us back to God the Father. We cannot but say thank you JESUS for all these things. The salvation we got with just one message; many in the world are still struggling and fighting serious battles just to have salvation. THANK YOU JESUS FOR MY SALVATION!
For every event, happening, occasion, we must thank God. For the position you hold in life, things you can see and those you cannot see, we must express our gratitude. For those things we love and hate, what about those things that we enjoy or grieve about? The Bible passages revealed that we should be thankful for all things. The remnants and survivors of the extremely harsh weather of 1611 and 1621 that started thanksgiving had it so bad that there was nothing for them to be grateful for; still they gave THANKS that God spared some of them to tell the story of God’s goodness. There is always something to thank God for. TODAY, AGAIN, LORD, I SAY THANK YOU!
