“PATTERN OF LIVING: THANKSGIVING – Part II”

Ephesians 5: 19-20

"Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; - Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ"

Thanksgiving is basically an expression of gratitude, to others, especially to our GOD. It could be expressed in psalms and hymns and singing spiritual songs to attract the heart and move of God. Whenever we thank God from our hearts we are actually craving for more blessings. Thanksgiving should be a daily and regular practice of Christians.

Our Lord Jesus always expressed attitude of gratitude to God the Father and signs and wonders followed Him with performance of miracles. In the same manner, there is power of answered prayers whenever we give thanks to God before placing our demands and requests with God.

We need to give quality and robust thanks to God at all times. Jesus Christ always did and He enjoyed the benefits of thanksgiving. Do we really always remember to thank God for the salvation of our souls which so many are still struggling to come into understanding. Thank God for day to day sanctification and justification of your soul; and for the journey of life so far at any point in time; and for  food on your table; and roof over your head. THANK GOD!

Prayer points for the day

1) Father, I cannot thank you enough for the blessings all the year round, in my life, in Jesus Name.

2) Almighty God, thank you for day to day safety of my family at home and abroad, in Jesus Name.

3) Father, thank you for what you have done and what you are yet to do, in my household, in Jesus Name.

4) Lord, thank you for giving me day to day favor all the way, in my life, in Jesus Name.

5) Lord, thank you for the day I was born, in Jesus Name.

6) Father, thank you for giving me another season of thanksgiving this year, in Jesus Name.

7) Father, thank you for daily benefits over my life and household, in Jesus Name. Amen.
