2 Tim. 1:9
"Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace, which was given in Christ Jesus before the world began."
“Please pause a minute to salute and remember our fallen men and women in uniform and those civilians who have laid their lives for us to have peace in this part of the world (USA)
At 3.00pm EST please take a moment of silence to honor these people and their families for the ultimate price paid with their sacrificial blood. THANK YOU.”
Our salvation, calling, blessing, favor, greatness etc. and whatever we may have are not because of our works, but because of divine grace. Therefore, do not ever boast about all the things that God has availed us. Just praise His Holy Name for those things you have and those things you are hoping for.
God has purpose and plans for every one’s destiny; and there is nothing that happens without His knowledge. He has designed the heaven and earth the way they should be. There is nothing in our natural surrounding that is new and more beautiful than the scenario of heaven as revealed in the book of revelation.
All we are doing here on earth is sowing and making spiritual investment, with our time, treasures and talents. They are all from above and therefore belong to GOD. Let us use them wisely and with righteousness; according to the purpose and grace of God. No one harvests what he does not sow and likewise, no one gets dividend what he does not invest in. There is divine and spiritual dividend and the day is coming. Heaven is real and hell is real. No one sows evil and reap righteousness. Where you have your investment is where you get your dividend. Heaven or hell? Invest in heavenly things not in hellish things. That is where the purpose and grace of God will be forever!
