“LOVE ONE ANOTHER” : Monday February 26

John 13:35

"By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another"

The above Bible passage was handed over by Jesus to the disciples and they in turn handed it over to us ; admonishing us the way to love one another. When there is apparent love for one another, people will see us doing what Jesus did. They would see that we are worthy to be followers of Jesus and eventually be known as true Christians.

If we have love for one another like Jesus had said, by so doing, people will see that we have the nature of God, and that Jesus has left great divine legacy for us and transferred divine nature of love unto us. The question is how would they see the nature of Jesus in us? They will see it by our genuine love for others.

Let us learn from the Good Samaritan. He loved the traveler that was wounded without drawing any line of limitation. The love he had was all out to save the traveler both physically and spiritually. Let us show our love to others no matter who they are or where they come from!!!!! The love we show today can be a blessing of tomorrow from sources we may not even recognize. Amen. Love as if today is the end and as if there is no tomorrow.

Prayer points for the day

1) Father, thank you for the love journey so far, in Jesus Name.

2) Lord, give me the grace to love people no matter who they are, in Jesus Name.

3) Father, let me love the unlovable, in Jesus Name.
