“KINGDOM AUTHORITY”. Part II : Tuesday July 9

Luke 10:19

KJV
"Behold, I give you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy : and nothing shall by any means hurt you."

NLT
"Look, I have given you authority over all the power of the enemy, and you can walk among snakes and scorpions and crush them. Nothing will injure you".

The purpose of any delegated authority is to be used on behalf of the giver. The user is accountable and responsible to the giver. Therefore, authority given and not used will count against the one that is given to. In the same way, authority misused will surely be noted.

The authority is to deal with what negates the kingdom. Lack, sickness, darkness, shame, evil, etc all negate the kingdom of God. We are expected to take authority and break the barrier or danger which they may pose against the kingdom. The Bible says “Surely they will gather ………….. ” but please take authority against the gathering of them. This authority had been given. Use it or else you may lose it.

People that lose power under authority may not be able to regain it. Use it and very well. Your talent is a sort of power, use it when you are still able. Use the authority given to you against all odds of life. Jesus will not allow the authority given to be wasted or threatened. Stay strong upon the promises of Jesus. Amen.

Prayer points for the day

1) Father, thank you for another day in your kingdom, in Jesus Name.
2) Father, thank you for the grace to remain above the ground, in Jesus Name.
3) Lord, strengthened me all the way to the kingdom, in Jesus Name.
4) Lord, please do not allow me to miss thy kingdom, in Jesus Name.
5) Father, as this month progresses, let me and family progress in your kingdom, in Jesus Name.
6) Father, with your authority behind me, let me crush all that represent snakes and scorpions along my way in the kingdom, in Jesus Name.
7) Father, remove every distraction and barrier along my thorough way towards your kingdom, in Jesus Name. Amen.

Have a blessed and wonderful day!
