"And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
NLT
"Jesus came and told His disciples, "I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth."
When there is all authority there is all access to the kingdom of heaven and earth. Jesus spoke to the disciples about the authority given to him and the word of God is speaking to us about this same authority in our days. Jesus used the authority to command all the miracles and we are supposed to be using the same authority.
The desire of our Lord Jesus for us is to specifically utilize the authority to command and do greater works. Unfortunately, we are not ; because of so many weights and distractions are besetting us.
If we can prioritize our focus by putting God first and seeking Him first and the kingdom, then our access to the kingdom resources will also be the priority of God for us. Whatever we have and are come from the resources of heaven and earth and Jesus is in charge. Hook on to Jesus and your place in the Kingdom is guaranteed. Amen.
Prayer points for the day
1) Father, thank you for the power given to live life, in Jesus Name.
2) Father, thank you for the gift of another day, in Jesus Name.
3) Lord, by your mercy let my access to the kingdom resources never be restricted, in Jesus Name.
4) Father, let me and family enjoy the resources of heaven and earth, in Jesus Name.
5) Lord, enable me to seek you first and your righteousness, in Jesus Name.
6) Father, my eyes are unto you, guide my feet towards eternal kingdom, in Jesus Name.
7) Lord, give me the grace to re discover the power of your kingdom, in Jesus Name. Amen.
