John 21:4
"But she the morning was now come, Jesus stood on the shore: but the disciples knew not that it was Jesus"
The appearance of Jesus after resurrection to His disciples made a lot of difference to them and to the whole world. Though, they could not recognize HIM, He was a blessing to their all night failure. The miraculous encounter they experienced was the same when Jesus was with them before He went to Calvary.
Jesus appeared in His glorified body which had been processed from the physical pain of death on the cross to the spiritual body. The disciples could not recognize the glorified body of Jesus immediately. The appearance of Jesus was the beginning of the process of HIs ascension into heaven where HE belongs. He came to us for a purpose which had been fulfilled.
The purpose He showed to Peter was to confirm that Jesus is for ever alive, as He was with them in the past. Jesus is forever with us today at present and will be for ever alive with us in future. Remember Hebrews 3:8. Praise God. Jesus still shows up at the time of our struggles and we are unable to perceive His presence. When your shame turned to fame, it was because Jesus showed up. When your failure became success it was because Jesus did not forget you. Seek JESUS and every labor in the past shall become favor for the present and future. AMEN. If we are close enough to Jesus we would know HIM and the power of resurrection. PRAISE GOD!
Prayer points for the day
1) Lord, thank you for giving me and family the light of another day in Jesus Name.
2) Almighty God, thank you for for the journey of my life so far, in Jesus Name.
3) Lord, let my destiny resurrect, in Jesus Name.
4) Father, do not allow the devil to hold bound my destiny, in Jesus Name.
5) Father, let favor answer for me where they mention my name for any evil, in Jesus Name.
6) Father, as this year advances, let the power of your Glory advance in every area of my life, in Jesus Name.
7) Father, let every womb seeking fruitfulness resurrect to bear, carry and deliver, in Jesus Name. Amen.
