John 20 : 17

"Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not ; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God."

Days after the assault, persecution, death and resurrection, before ascension, Jesus appeared to women that sought after HIM and them to the disciples. Jesus had to go back to heaven His residence, but He gave directions how the disciples should go about with the gospel.

Jesus had accomplished the first phase of His assignment, but returning for the final phase. Brethren, the stage is set for His coming back with all happening around us. Jesus gave us the blue print in the Bible how to carry on from where He ascended.

Some of what Jesus told His disciples were 1) Occupy till I come, 2) Greater works shall we do, 3) Feed my flock, sheep, 4) Spread the good news of the gospel, 5) Be careful, you are amongst the wolves, 6) I go to prepare a place for you, 7) Where I am you shall be, 8) I will send the comforter, the Holy Spirit, etc. Jesus had prepared the way of light, love and life for us as HIS followers. The second coming of Christ is eminent and sooner. We must experience some of the scriptures to understand the meaning. For examples, the trials, sufferings, blessings and other experiences of life will explain the meaning of the scriptures.

Prayer points for the day

1) Father, thank you for the light, love and life given to me and my family in Jesus Name.

2) Lord, from today, let me and my family begin to experience you more and more, in Jesus Name.

3) Almighty God, let every pain of my life become the source of my praise, in Jesus Name.

4) Father, let favor upon my life advance as this year is advancing in Jesus Name.

5) Lord, favor the works of my life, in Jesus Name.

6) Lord, turn every disfavor to favor, in Jesus Name.

7) Father, favor me all the way till eternity, in Jesus Name. Amen.
