“I LOVE THEE” Part II : Thursday February 4

John 21:15

"so when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simeon Peter, Simeon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto Him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He said unto him Feed my lambs"

Simeon Peter’s response to the question of Jesus “thou knowest that I love thee” is a common one amongst Christians. Therefore, Jesus went further to state that Peter should feed His lambs. Love should not be only by words, but by action. Jesus wants our love for others to be seen in action more than in words. Then there will be love overflow.

Words could be very affectional, but action is necessary for love to flow and overflow. “I love you” is only expression of words of affection, if there is no active action behind it What makes love to flow and overflow is action of seeking the well being of the people we claim to love.

This month of February is a peculiar month of love all over the world. Let the love we proclaim have Godly undertone and purpose. As christians, let us express our love with the mind of God. Agape love. Let it flow in abundance and out of the nature of Christ. AMEN!!!!!!
