John 18: 6
"As soon as He had said unto them, I am He, they went backwards, and fell to the ground"
Let us have a recap of what happened briefly before Jesus spoke. The Bible passage above refers to the time Judas conspired and led the band of man and officers from the Chief Priests and Pharisees fully armed to ‘arrest’ Jesus.
Judas was formerly one of the followers of Jesus before this incidence, but had become a follower of conspirators. What happened? No matter how we follow and serve Jesus, we need the prayer to end well. Can we therefore conclude that Judas had been predestined to be used of the devil and ended the way it happened? This is one point for Christians to ponder upon. There are many questions that might be raised. Did Judas make a bad choice? Did Judas become greedy because he was in charge of the apostolic treasury? Was Judas walking in the will of God as regards his destiny? What changed his destiny? The devil or himself? Whenever any one walks away from Jesus at any point destiny will be challenged.
When Jesus spoke, the supposed arresters fell back instead of falling forward to worship Jesus. Falling back is a sign of backsliding. It also revealed how weak they were with all their number, being a band of men and officers, with lanterns, touchers and weapons. With the sound of Jesus all weapons of warfare became neutralized. Jesus did not have to fight. “I am He” became a divine arrow against the the traitors conspiracy. Shout JESUS and let the conspirators fall back to the ground. JESUS!!
Prayer points for the day
1) Father, thank you for the powerful revelation in the Name of Jesus, in Jesus Name.
2) Almighty God, thank you for keeping me in good health under the Name of Jesus, in Jesus Name.
3) Lord, let all my resolution bring divine solution to me and my household this year, in Jesus Name.
4) Lord, prepare me to be undisturbed and undaunted whenever my enemy conspire against my life, in Jesus Name.
5) Father, let my resolution become a reality this year, in Jesus Name.
6) Lord, let my identity in Jesus become dangerous arrows to all my conspirators, in Jesus Name. Amen.
7) Father, by your immutable power, keep me standing tall above my enemies this year 2015, even when there is any conspiracy against my life, in Jesus Name.
