“HE SHALL RESTORE FIVE”

Exodus 22:1

"If a man shall steal an ox, or a sheep, and kill it, or sell it; he shall restore five oxen for an ox, and four sheep for a sheep"

Divine restoration is an act from God- re-establishing, renewing, and re-storing better than the original position.  In the days of Moses, the above passage portrays an example of the diver’s laws and ordinances that were in place; this was also extended towards the new testament until Jesus Christ confirmed in John 10:10 that life is available in abundance against what the devil has stolen.

When man restores a man, things can improve. However, when God restores, it will be much better than whatever improvement man has made! King David lost his throne because of his son’s (Absalom) rebellious activities, but God intervened and restored David back to his throne with greater influence

If situations and circumstances are looking dim, wait upon the Lord, stick to the Spirit of God until the end, because the Spirit will win – the Spirit does not fail.  If you always think that your dreams are all about what man can do for you, ask yourself a very crucial questions: where is God in your life! Our God is God of restoration. Your life can be restored again, your home can be restored again, your marriage can be restored again, your hope can be restored again, your future is in the hands of God. Praise God!
