“HAVING COMPASSION ON A STRANGER” Part IV : Thursday February 15

LUKE 10: 33-34

"But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed came where he was and when he saw him, he had compassion on him.
34) And went to him, bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him."

The next application of unlimited love by the Good Samaritan was a

also based on further action, not words of prayers only. The Bible makes us to know that the Good Samaritan set the wounded on his own beast. If it was a single seat beast then the Samaritan must be walking while the man wounded was on the beast. What a love without limits!!!!.

One of the principles of unlimited love is putting others first and loving others as yourself. The Priest and the Levite passed through the same spot, but looked other ways. However, the Good Samaritan not only went to the wounded, he also, performed some paramedics’ efforts and went further to release his property (the beast) to make the wounded comfortable until he could get full attention for treatment.

The example showed by the Good Samaritan was of true unlimited love. When last have you taken such steps towards showing exemplary love? Decide to love without considering tribal or ethnic connections. Love only with Godly connections for all. This is another season to remind us of showing love. Just stand out to help the needy and God will surely reward you, in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen.

Prayer points for the day

1) Father, thank you for this season of love, in Jesus Name.

2) Lord, by your love, take me and family to the next level, in Jesus Name.

3) Lord, let your love stand for me and give me a new beginning, in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen.

4) Father, let your word of love make me to take action like the Good Samaritan, in every situation, in Jesus Name.

5) Lord, let me love the unlovable, in Jesus Name.

6) Lord, let me love like Jesus loved, in Jesus Name.

7) Almighty God, let my life begin to love others even more than myself, in Jesus Name. Amen.

Have a blessed and wonderful day!
