“HAVING COMPASSION ON A STRANGER” Final Part : Friday February 16

LUKE 10: 33-34

"But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed came where he was and when he saw him, he had compassion on him.
34) And went to him, bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him.

It is hoped that our audience would bear with us. This topic has been somehow revealing, hence it has come to this fifth and final part . The Good Samaritan having set the wounded Jew on his own personal beast, he took him to an inn, and ensure that proper care was given to relief his pains. What a demonstration of practical love!

He (The Good Samaritan) made sure that the man was not left to further dangers. He took responsibility by taking him to a safe place of comfort. It was a practical way to show love unlimited. With the Good Samaritan ; his business gave way to acts of love; but the Priest and Levite, they allowed their business to hinder act of love. At that moment, they failed in all righteousness.

When we fall to distractions and sins of live, we cannot safe ourselves. In addition, we are like the traveler who was robbed, devoured and left half dead with no strength to help ourselves. Praise God, our blessed and glorious Jesus had been sent to us like the Good Samaritan. All expenses and charges against us have been put upon Jesus. He (Jesus ) is big enough in love to accommodate all that come to HIM. Lead some one wounded in the spiritual to Jesus today in love. Amen.
