Esther 2: 17
" And the king loved Esther above all the women, and she obtained grace and favor in his sight more than all the virgins; so that he set the royal crown upon her head, and made her queen instead of Vashti."
Grace and favor assisted Esther not to miss her appointment with destiny. However, it was the fatal error in attitude of queen Vashti that perfected Esther’s path to her destiny, because of the combination of grace and favor which she divinely obtained.
Grace is great, but when it mingles with favor, it becomes greater. No one could deny Esther anything. No palatial protocols and restrictions were able to stop her to reach for her destiny; because of Esther: the rules changed. She shined beyond her own imagination. She was preferred over one hundred and twenty seven virgins presented to the king. All barriers were broken, and the king waited for her about seven years. God can change natural and human rules because of someone that is desperate.
The selection process was tough, but the God of Israel that was with Esther was tougher than whatever process. Esther had appointment with destiny and she received help all the way. When your help is complete by the sovereign power of God, there will be no hindrances. Esther, did not use any diplomacy or calculations, she sought the face of God with three days of communal fasting and prayers and God granted her petition and performed her requests. Today, you too can decide to try God, not with diplomacy, with sincerity of all purpose. God is the highest diplomat, HE can discern and breakdown your diplomacy before it is consummated. Try God and Trust God.
Prayer points for the day
1) Father, thank you for allowing me and my family to witness another day, in Jesus Name.
2) Lord, thank you for sending help my way this season, in Jesus Name.
3) Father, thank you for this is the day that you have made in Jesus Name.
4) Lord, for my sake, let all protocol favors me, in Jesus Name.
5) Almighty God, do a new thing in my life, in Jesus Name.
6) Lord, let me experience the grace and favor you bestowed on Esther, in Jesus Name.
7) Almighty God, for my sake, I am desperate to live my life for you; let natural laws change where it is needed in my life, in Jesus Name. Amen.
