Genesis 29:20
"And Jacob served seven years for Rachel ; and they seemed unto him but a few days, for the love he had to her"
With few more days for the month of love to be over, we should not allow loving God and the people to be over with it. All through the old testament, there are evidences that love had been in existence from the beginning. Love is wrapped in the sovereignty power of God theFather and Christ the Son : and where there is love, nothing shall be impossible.
Jacob went into a seven (7) year labor service without pay, but in expectation of love in return. The Bible Says they seemed unto him but a few days, because of the love he had towards Rachel. That is exactly what love can do. In that sense love is very powerful to make someone serve such a long time waiting for love! That was a unique and special anointing.
Today, do something concrete and not ordinary for the sake of love. God is involved in love and love with God. When you love the people then you can boldly say you love God. Love with commitment lasts longer than love with emotions. Jacob’s love was with total commitment to the cause of Rachel. He proved it and demonstrated it in all fronts. Remember, there is no law court to prosecute excessive love. For the sake of love, let us go extra mile for our families and humanity. Let love prevail over hatred. Love is peace and hatred is war. Love as Jesus loves. Amen.
Jacob committed his energy for love and the rest because example for the world. Ladies could also sacrifice and commit where they see a clear coast of love. Actually, Rachel first introduced Jacob to her father, because of his ” act of love”. He helped to roll the heavy stone covering the well. Stay tuned for tomorrow’s reflection. Praise God.

1) Father, thank you for the light of love and grace upon my life and family today, in Jesus Name.
2) Father, thank you for your mercy and glory of love in my household, in Jesus Name.
3) Lord, give me the grace to love and show it, in Jesus Name.
4) Lord, let your love guide me from living a loving life, in Jesus Name.
5) Father, let this month of February speak love and joy into my family at home and abroad in Jesus Name.
6) Father, as this year is advancing, let your power and grace advance with me and my family, in Jesus Name.
7) Lord, have your ways in my life and let me testify to your love and grace before the end of this year, in Jesus Name. Amen.
