“DRINKETH IN THE RAIN” – THAT BRINGETH FORTH” Final Part : Wednesday June 22

Hebrews 6:7

"For the earth which drinketh in the rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receiveth blessing from God:"

When rain comes down, it falls upon the ground. Soaked in the ground to remove crack, dryness and droughts and bringeth forth herbs. Not only the herbs, but corn, wine and oil that come from the ground. Most of these resources come because there is rain and showers of blessing.

As believers we do not only taste the word of God, we must also drink it as water. Water is good to the body. If water is lacking in its proper percentage the body will not function well. Water makes our seed to grow very well as the word of God grows us if taken serious.

The admonition today is that you drink the word of God as you drink water so that you can bring forth “herbs” meet for you as you follow the word. It is all about the showers of blessing. Follow the precepts of God and you can provoke turning on God’s showers of blessing. However, when His precepts are ignored, then one can provoke turning off God’s showers of blessing. Embrace Christ as your anchor and you can align with God’s will for turning on the divine showers of blessing. AMEN!!!!
