Genesis 37:20
“Come now therefore, and let us slay him (Joseph), and cast him (Joseph ) into some pit, and we will say, some evil beast hath devoured him: and we shall see what will become his dreams."
What ever the dream adversaries and killers may say; please note that it is not what God is saying, because God does not speak like the wicked family members. He does not speak like man speaks. Joseph’s brothers said something negative, but God intervened and counter to overturn and overrule what they had said. Whose words would you believe? The words of your enemies or the words of God? What your big brothers are saying or what God is saying?
God is God for ever and HE Had spoken concerning Joseph, the youngest of Jacob’s children through his own dreams. When God speaks He is always up to the task. HE would stand to see the manifestations of His words, no matter the conspiracies of the conspirators. The dream was about God positioning Joseph in/for the future and all the brothers would one day pay homeage to him! They all thought that they were better than Joseph. It is not about age. It is about who God chooses as the head.
The brothers raged against the counsel of God. They fret at the sight of Joseph, but God was with Joseph all the way. How do we respond to the rage and fret of people against us? Is it rage for rage: fret for fret , or God fight for me? Let God be there for you to fight and defeat every satanic repeated counsel against you. God offered Joseph repeated divine intervention to keep alive his dreams. He is still the same God. Believe HIM and you are in good hands. Amen.
Prayer points for the day
1) Lord, thank you for your unlimited divine intervention upon my life over and over, in Jesus Name.
2) Lord, thank you for giving me victory over every demonic counsel against my dreams and destiny, in Jesus Name. Amen.
3) Father, let your word prevail over whatever man can say about my life and destiny, in Jesus Name.
4) Father, intervene in what negative plans or words man may say and make a turn around in all that concerns me and family, in Jesus Name. Amen.
5) Lord, I will not experience any repeated failure or defeat any more in my life, in Jesus Name.
6) Lord, arise all the time and intervene against the rage of my adversaries till the end, in Jesus Name.
7) Father, I invite you into the boat of my household, intervene for us, in Jesus Name. Amen.
