“Covenant of Peace” Final Peace : Wednesday May 10

Numbers 25:12-13

12) "Wherefore say, Behold, I have unto him my Covenant of peace"
13) And he shall have it, and his seed after him, even the covenant of an everlasting priesthood; because he was zealous of his God, and made an atonement for the children of Israel."

When God Said “Behold” in the Bible days, it was a way of inviting the attention of mankind especially the loved ones to very important issues such as divine covenant. God is eternally committed to His covenant, while He expects us to handle our own aspect of the covenant with zealousness.

God went ahead to emphasize that the person and the purpose of the covenant cannot change, by saying “And he shall have it” The reason behind such a strong covenant of blessing is because of the zeal displayed towards the things of God. If you are zealous for God the blessings go beyond you to your seeds and seeds after your seeds.

Take a stand for Jesus by all means. Let Him be the Author and the Finisher of your faith. Remember, the just shall live by faith. God sits in heaven and looking at the affairs of mankind. With God there is no eye services. Be real with God, in and out of season. He is faithful to reward every one accordingly. Praise God. This season of divine covenant shall not be wasted in your life, in Jesus Name. Amen.
