Genesis 17:1-2
1) "And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the Lord appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect. 2) And I will make my covenant between me and thee, and will multiply thee exceedingly."
As you all commence this new week, you will know God and HE (God) will know you. Before the covenant was pronounced ; God Had to make himself known again to Abram before taking him into the insight of what was to be established in his favor. This kind of covenant have conditions. Abram must turn his best to God. He must live a life that is perfect towards God and then came the covenant.
This is a kind of old covenant and it still works according to Jehovah’s agenda. Remember, a covenant is divine and man has nothing to do with it, apart from the fact that it is made for the benefit of man. The foundation and manifestation of covenant is God’s pure prerogative and it comes from the Superior side of creation. Amen.
God handed over the keys of the promises to Abram and as well to us. Know that God is the All Mighty, All Knowing and All sufficient God. If God had to re introduce Himself and what He can do to Abram with covenant, He is always ready to do even more for us. If we can be sober towards the boss at work, because of promises that can be broken, we should be more sober towards God, who upholds covenant and at the same time superior in all things than the boss. The boss is under the supernatural control of God. Amen. Hold on to the promises of divine covenant. Amen
Prayer points for the day
1) Father, thank you for letting me know you more, in Jesus Name.
2) Lord, thank you for the gift of another great day of divine covenant, in Jesus Name.
3) Lord, thank you for the promises of covenant, in Jesus Name.
4) Father, let me be in line with your covenant that is everlasting, in Jesus Name.
5) Father, thank you to be more than enough for me and family, in Jesus Name.
6) Father, thank you for the covenant to multiply me and my family exceedingly, in Jesus Name.
7) Father, with your power of grace, let this month of divine covenant manifest in my family, in Jesus Name. Amen.
