……..BUT LOVE COVERS” : Friday February 14

Proverbs 10:12

“Hatred stirs up strife, But love covers all sins”

Happy Valentine’s Day. On the Christians’ calendar, valentine is said to be the third most celebrated day after Christmas and Esther. It is a day that draws people across the board together. New acquittances are made and we see people re unite in one kind of love and the other. It is a day that hatred loses its grip in the world, while we see love signs every where we turn. Amen.

It is day that many people tend to walk, speak and act together in love. Fresh flowers go round the town in expression of love for loved ones. The season generates peace in many homes, schools and communities and love becomes the great peace maker. It is a great thing to always be where there is love. Why? Because love is a chief promoter of peace in the sense that it makes the atmosphere bearable and lively. Whereas, hatred begins and heats up strifes. Hatred makes problems more difficult to solve but love always finds a way of solution.

Brethren, let us apply valentine to our daily lifestyles. Love the unloveable. Do away with hatred. Not dwelling too much on everything not right. Put on your love gear in reality. Give out some love, however little, because it counts. Appreciate your loved ones. Create atmosphere of love for God by loving the people. Amen.
