John 20: 25

"The other disciples therefore said unto him, (Disciple Thomas ) We have seen the Lord. But he (Disciple Thomas )said unto them, except I shall see in HIS (Jesus) hands the print of the nails, and put my (Disciple Thomas) finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into His (Jesus) side , I will not believe."

Please note that there is no addition whatsoever to the above Bible passage. The names in the brackets are included to make the comprehension of the passage a bit easy for us and to be able to follow through this series.

Thomas was mentioned in the penultimate verse 23. However, he was not present when Jesus resurrected and did not believe in the power of resurrection, until he saw and put his hands in the print of the nails to have physical feeling of the cruxifixction of Jesus. As a result, Thomas became one of those having a form of Godliness and denying the power of resurrection thereof. What is your own position regarding resurrection? Do you believe or not?

In verse 29 of John chapter 20, Jesus declared blessing on those that have not seen HIM and yet they have believed. It is our belief system in Christ that precedes answered prayers. Let us believe God for answered prayers all the time we pray. Also, we should believe in the power that God Has given to Jesus. We must not be amongst those that would be followers of Jesus without believing in HIS resurrection; which is the centerpiece of our faith. Without resurrection, there is nothing to stand for in Christianity. Amen.
