John 9:11

He answered and said, A man that is called Jesus made clay, and anointed mine eyes, and said unto me, Go to the pool of Siloam, and wash : and I went and washed, and I received my sight."

The man that was anointed with healing had no idea of who Jesus was! So he said “a man called Jesus”. Likewise, many of us may be Christians, but do not know what extent the power of the man called Jesus can do. It was the plan of God to put an end to the darkness of his life with such anointing, since he was born blind. Jesus was just passing by when he met the blind man from birth.

Jesus was passing by but the man was not by passed. It was his appointed time to receive his miracle from Jesus. Appointed time to become complete and begin a new life. Anointing brings light out of darkness. One day of anointing can wipe away darkness and sorrow of many years. The Bible did not tell us the age of this man, but he was able to comprehend and follow instructions from Jesus.

To receive our “sight” in the spiritual, we must meet with Jesus. The man was blessed with anointing to receive his sight because he met Jesus and did all what was required of him. Jesus spoke concerning his situation and acted on his behalf in a divine process to restore the blind man’s sight. Obedience and trust in anointing of Jesus brought the man a special exceeding breakthrough of his lifetime. Praise God.
