“A MOTHER’S CRY FOR HELP” – Part I

Matthew 15:22

"And, behold, a woman of Canaan, came out of the same coasts, and cried unto HIM, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil"

The woman in question was desperate to get help for her vexed daughter. Her daughter had been under attack of the devil. She might have run to many places in her city without solution, spent money and seen so many specialists. However, as the devil was mentioned with the sickness; she realized the need for the power of the Spiritual for solution.

In that kind of attack, there was nothing and physician could do, but we have the Physician of physicians in Jesus. He can deal with what any other physicians would not do. The woman displayed a prevailing faith and Jesus responded to help.

Jesus is our divine help in all things. He cares for everyone. Hold on to Jesus and He would hold out for you. Mercy speaks over all issues of life. It can speak and be the source of your divine help, only if you can cry like the woman mentioned above. She also called Jesus from the deep of His foundation. “SON OF DAVID” There was no one that called HIM from the deep that did not receive merciful help. Call upon him today from the deep. 1 Peter 5:7 is also relevant when you call HIM. Amen.
