“VICTORY AT LAST”. Part 1 : Tuesday July 24

Genesis 49:19

"Gad, a troop shall overcome him: but he shall overcome at the last."

Genesis 49:1-4 reveal to us how Jacob gathered all his twelve children to come and hear that which shall befall them at the last. Some received blessings unto complete, some partial victory and some unto defeat.

Rueben was the first born of Jacob. He received the worst revelation of his life from his old dying father, because of what he had done in secret against his father; who knew, but kept it till his (Jacob) dying days. Brethren, there is no secret anywhere. Let our lifestyles glorify God. Uncover your sins to God for forgiveness and God might cover them.

Life is full of both warfare and fanfare. War-fare is for us to prevail and overcome, whereas fun-fare is for us to enjoy. One who laughs last laughs best. The way you started out in life should not determine the way you will end. Par adventure you started small you will end big time, in Jesus Name. Amen. With God on your side, you will end better than you started out, in Jesus Name.

To “overcome at the last” is an equation towards “victory at last”. However, Gad, had been involved in inevitable struggles in the early part of his life, received the blessing of the victory at last. The statement Jacob initially pronounced did not sound pleasant, but there were later words of victory for Gad. If you are reading today, Tuesday July 24th 2018 and has been in constant struggles regarding a particular issue in life: even at this moment and hour, there is hope of victory for you at last, in Jesus Name. In the middle of that battle, do what is humanly possible for you and put the rest on God. Amen.

2) Lord, take me far away from sin and appearance of sinful tendencies, in Jesus Name.

3) Father, move me and my family from warfare to fun-fare, in Jesus Name.

5) Father, let me and my family end well, despite our small beginnings, in Jesus Name.

6) Lord, let me and family overcome all of my/our enemies, however strong they might be, in Jesus Name.
