“EXCEEDING GRACE OF GOD” : Thursday August 17

1 Timothy 1:14

"And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus"

The author of the books of Corinthians, Paul the Apostle, was a man of outstanding faith. Any one that lives a life of faith in God the Father and Jesus the Son must have grace after the completion of the works of mercy.

There is a grace that is exceeding and abundant. It manifests upon the life of a steadfast believer who does not live for himself/herself. A believer that remembers the foundation of salvation as purely the works of grace will enjoy grace in measures. There is hope of exceeding grace for those that can endure till the end. Grace is the empowerment that will complete the journey in a man’s life, however rough or smooth.

The world has failed us but for the grace of God that cannot expire; which is keeping us going. God is giving us extended season of grace despite our inconsistencies and failure as Christians. Our lives as Christians are not as simple as driving when the green light is on and stopping when the red light is on. Grace is what we are leaning on for now. Master Jesus will come soon to reign accordingly. Stand up, stand up for Jesus. Amen.
