“DO YOU FRUSTRATE THE GRACE OF GOD?” : Wednesday August 16

Galatians 2:21

"I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain"

The life of Paul was impacted by an outstanding great grace, and he was very alert not to abuse grace after his conversion. For every one there is grace of God. The grace of God we carry does not control us, it gives us freedom to do the right thin for the sake of Christ who died in place of our sins. The grace of God is linked with the death of Jesus and that made grace to be precious to God. The death of Jesus is grace for our salvation. It was purely by grace that we are saved.

The application of the grace of God in the church today has been taken lightly. Grace does not cover sins. It actually uncovers our sins ; thus opening us for repentance and forgiveness; after the completion of the works of mercy. The church today has become an easy blend for darkness and light and this is not pleasing to God. Paul categorically stated in the above Bible passage that under no reasons would he frustrate the grace of God. What about you?

Grace of God is a call to righteousness. It overcomes our weaknesses for strength of God. When we can no longer take on life issues by ourselves, the grace of God gives us power to live on. If we have been playing grace, it is time to stop and begin to do the right thing with the grace of God. Beloveds, we still have time; while waiting for the second coming of Jesus, to turn from doing whatever may be displeasing to God. There is personal responsibility for our actions. Grace does not condole sins. Romans 6:1 Says it all -” What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
