“THEY TOOK HIS COAT BUT NOT HIS DESTINY”. Final Part : Friday January 13

Genesis 37:23-24

"And it came to pass when Joseph was come unto his brethren, that they stript Joseph out of his coat, his coat of many colors that was on him;
24) And they took him, and cast him into a pit; and the pit was empty, there was no water in it"

Destiny starts at a point and goes all the way. Joseph never knew the extent of his destiny, despite his two dreams. His brothers knew the implication of the dreams and they attempted to change his name to “dreamer”. Inside of Joseph there was a destiny in process that no one could truncate or terminate.

The brothers of Joseph knew God, but did not know about who God Has been in the ruling of the affairs of man. Joseph’s coat of many colors started the process of the destiny; The brothers wondered and decided to strip (him) Joseph his coat and thought that was the end of his destiny.

They threw Joseph down into the pit, but God was in it. The Spirit of the Lord was full in the pit where they thought there was no water. God made the pit comfortable for Joseph. What the brothers saw as empty; but it was full of God’s presence and power. They sold Joseph into slavery, but God was on the way with Joseph. At Potiphar’ house ; God took full care of Joseph. He was taken into the prison for been a good behavior and God prepared the place for him until he arrived at the point of his destiny, the palace; God did not stop working for Joseph.The dreams of Joseph were fulfilled fully all the days of his life. Amen. DESTINY fulfilled has become his name! Amen. What is your own name this year? DESTINY ………………????????
