“YET I WILL REJOICE IN THE LORD”. Final Part : Friday November 22

Habakkuk 3:18-18

17) “Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labor of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls: 18) Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, will joy in the God of my salvation.”

Brethren, when there is life there is hope. All that were listed in verse 17 may be gone but our God is never ever gone. He is in our scarcity and He (GOD) is in there with us in surplus. When we are in some kind of shortages, let us remember that God is very much aware of all things and everything. Our joy in God will never be out of season. Therefore, our thanksgiving lifestyles stand sure in the Lord of our eternal salvation. Amen.

The God of our salvation never sleeps nor slumbers. He is on the watch for what we ever need for strength in times of weaknesses and shortages. When we are full, give glory to God, when not full let God hear your voice of thanks. In the hard times praise God and in easy times bless God. Rejoice in the Lord always.

Brethren, we should not allow our joy to be determined by what we are going through. God responds to our gratitude quickly than our complains. Gratitude goes to God directly, while complaints have to go through a flow mechanism and until they get to God. For instance, we can praise God anyhow, but cannot give our complaints and supplications any how. The devil cannot stand in the way of praises. Praise Him more and more. Amen.
