Acts 4:33
"And with great power gave the Apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all"
It was an extraordinary grace for the Apostles to witness the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ in the original. As a result, they received great power which was complimented by great grace. This is the season that every follower of Jesus Christ should recall the crucification and the power behind HIS resurrection.
The great power given to the Apostles came handy by great grace. They were able to display and record magnificent power and miracles. They followed the footsteps of Jesus in doing good; and healing all manners and diverse diseases in the great power that was given with great grace. In actual fact, they indeed did greater works.
The resurrection was a divine agenda and assurance in the process of a Christian path. If there was no resurrection, the Christian faith would have been without solid reference point. Jesus took all the oppression, affliction, pain sicknesses and shame so that you and I can be free. His death and resurrection can never be in vain. There is still power in His Name. He (JESUS) is the reason for the season. He is alive in your life and you too must be alive in Him and be “dead” to the flesh. Remain connected to His Divinity so that you can maintain the expected level of spirituality. PRAISE GOD.
Prayer points for the day
1) Father, thank you for the grace of another day, in Jesus Name.
2) Father, thank you for the power working out my salvation, in Jesus Name.
3) Father, thank you for removing my life from pain and shame, in Jesus Name.
4) Lord, thank you for the peace flowing like a river, in Jesus Name.
5) Lord, let me fulfill your divine agenda till the end, in Jesus Name.
6) Lord, let me finish strong and well, in Jesus Name.
7) Father, let me remain connected to your power, in Jesus Name. Amen.
