“WHO HATH SAVED US” – Part I

2 Tim. 1:9

"Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to or works, but according to His own purpose and grace, which was given in Christ Jesus before the world began."

There is no one that can save himself/herself, talk less of saving any other person. This is an indication of how great our God has been and all of His great benefits that abound towards us. It is only the power of God that is actually capable of saving us in all circumstances.

The state of real salvation is unto the Lord, through our Lord Jesus Christ. According to the Bible passage above, it has since been revealed and eventually given to Jesus before the foundation of the earth. Jesus holds the rights and privileges of eternal salvation.

How do we then enjoy the great benefits of salvation? We can enjoy these benefits by having deep relationship with JESUS. Trust Him more than your intimacy with man/woman. Jesus is constant in all things than man. Salvation is the master key to the calling. The call does not mean into the ministry as many may think, your life vocation is your calling. The career you pursue in life is your vocation and therefore it becomes your callingYour calling is under covenant of grace –Covenant of grace speaks in all callings.
